Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest report has it that Nigeria has recorded 180 fresh cases of #COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 64,516, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said on Wednesday.
According to the report released via twitter handle, the health agency said that the fresh cases were recorded from 9 states including the FCT. Lagos state- the epicentre of of the novel virus recorded 74 infections followed by Oyo State with 41.
Others are; FCT and Kaduna-19 each, Bauchi-12, Ogun-7, Rivers-4, Cross River and Edo-2 each.
The report further stated that a total of 60,737 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities across the country since the index case in February while 1,162 lives had been lost to COVID-19 related complications.
