Life Jackets and Swimming Skills Saved Them

Actress Dayo Amusa Denies HIV Rumour
In another trending update from the entertainment world, Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has firmly denied viral claims suggesting she is living with HIV.
The rumour began after a content creator, Olaoluwa Segun, posted a video listing five Nigerian actors he falsely claimed were HIV positive — including Amusa and fellow actor Hanks Anuku.
Reacting on Instagram, Amusa expressed shock at seeing her name in the video, clarifying that she is HIV negative.
She further explained that a 2019 post she made to raise awareness about HIV testing was misinterpreted and misused by Segun years later.
“I only made that post to educate people on the importance of knowing their status,”
she said, adding that the claim was not backed by any fact.
