President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showered praise on Vice President Kashim Shettima as he clocks 59, describing him as a loyal partner whose dedication has strengthened their leadership journey.
In a heartfelt birthday message released on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Tinubu reaffirmed his confidence in Shettima, declaring that he made the right decision in selecting him as his running mate.
“Since we embarked on this journey of building a prosperous Nigeria, your courage, sense of duty, and belief in the greatness of our nation have never wavered,” Tinubu said.
He applauded Shettima’s track record as a two-term Governor of Borno State and later as Senator, noting that he consistently proved leadership is service, not privilege, even in difficult times.
