In a significant move to foster inter-tribal and regional unity across the country, the Hausa community in Daura, Katsina State, is set to turban Chief James Nnebedum as Cika Alkin Karsa Hausa.
Chief James, known for his philanthropic gestures and humanitarian efforts in Hausaland, has distinguished himself through his impactful contributions to youth development and unwavering support for the less privileged. His remarkable achievements have earned him this rare honour in northern Nigeria.
The turbaning ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 28, 2025, at the Emir’s Palace in Daura, Katsina State.
