Abuja (Precise Post) – President Bola Tinubu has officially renamed the University of Maiduguri in honour of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The announcement was made on Thursday during an expanded Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The special session was convened to pay tribute to Buhari’s contributions to Nigeria’s development and leadership.
In a symbolic gesture of recognition, President Tinubu revealed that the institution will now bear the name of the former Nigerian leader.
