Reports that the campaign train began at Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency through to Abeokuta North, then to Abeokuta South.

On her part, Obasanjo said she is pleased that, wherever she went, people willingly pointed to the impact of her representation and the number of people whose lives had been transformed through her efforts to alleviate poverty.

She pledged to do even more to ensure that the people continued to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
She also promised to bring back “Iyaniwura” foundation, which gave succor to people at the grassroots through poverty alleviation programmes.
“I’m coming back to alleviate the pain and suffering of our people. Things have become worse for our people; those who had cars have sold them because of many challenges they had faced,” she said.
