ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodríguez have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including energy, critical minerals, technology, agriculture, healthcare and people-to-people exchanges.
Modi disclosed this on Thursday following a meeting with Rodríguez, during which both leaders held extensive discussions aimed at expanding collaboration between India and Venezuela.

He described Venezuela as a valued partner in Latin America and stressed the importance of the relationship for advancing the interests of the Global South.
According to the Indian leader, both countries will continue working together to deepen economic and strategic ties for the mutual benefit of their citizens.
The meeting comes amid growing engagement between New Delhi and Caracas, particularly in the energy sector, with both nations seeking to expand cooperation in oil, minerals, trade and investment.
Officials from the two countries also explored opportunities for collaboration in healthcare, agriculture, technology and other areas of shared interest.
Precise Post recalls that Rodríguez is currently on a working visit to India, where she is leading a high-level delegation in talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.
