Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 1,585 new cases of #COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The health agency disclosed this via it’s twitter handle late Saturday night, added that the fresh infection were recorded from 26 states of the federation including the FCT as follows:
Lagos-573; FCT-182; Plateau-162; Gombe-81;
Oyo-75; Rivers-68; Sokoto-58; Ondo-55; Ogun-42; Nasarawa-40; Akwa Ibom-36; Edo-31;
Kaduna-27; Anambra-22; Delta-19; Kano and
Others are: Ebonyi-16; Katsina and Niger-14 each; Bayelsa-9; EKiti-8; Borno-7; Jigawa-5; Abia-4 and Bauchi-3.
The NCDC further stated that the newly recorded infections brought the total confirmed cases in the country to 99, 063 out of which 79,417 have been discharged while 1,350 deaths have been recorded since the index case was reported in February 27 2020.
