According to the report released via NCDC’s twitter handle, Lagos State,l – the epicentre of the novel virus infection in the country accounted for 279 of the cases followed by the FCT with 179 patients while Plateau came third with 62 infections.
Others are as follow; Kaduna-54, Kano and Katsina-52,
Imo and Jigawa-42, Rivers-38, Kwara-30 and Nasarawa-19. Yobe-15, Ogun-13, Borno-10, Oyo and Niger-9, Ebonyi and Bauchi-6, Edo-5,
Taraba-4, Sokoto-2 and Cross River-2.
The health agency stated that a total of 66, 775 patients have been treated and discharged from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria while a total of 1,200 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the inde case was reported in February 27, 2020.
