ABUJA (PRECISE POST)  –  The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Dr Moses Paul, has urged members of the movement to prioritise unity, accountability and collective action in translating resolutions reached at its summit into concrete results.

Paul said the success of the summit should not be measured by attendance or speeches alone but by the movement’s ability to strengthen its structures, maintain unity and contribute to building a better Nigeria.

He made the call in a statement shared on his X handle after the summit, where he expressed appreciation to former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, other dignitaries, support groups, coordinators, stakeholders and volunteers for their contributions to the event.

The national coordinator also acknowledged members of the movement in Nigeria and the diaspora, commending their participation and commitment to sustaining its vision.

According to him, the summit marked a turning point for the movement, stressing that its resolutions must be followed by purposeful implementation and measurable outcomes.

“Today’s summit is a turning point. Its success will not be measured merely by attendance or speeches, but by our ability to translate our discussions into action, our resolutions into results, and our collective aspirations into a disciplined, united, and purposeful movement,” he said.

Paul cautioned members against allowing internal differences and personal ambitions to undermine the movement’s shared objectives.
He maintained that unity should remain central to the organisation’s activities, while urging members to strengthen its structures and remain focused on their collective responsibility to Nigeria.

“Our differences must never overshadow our common purpose, and no personal interest must ever become greater than the mission we serve,” he stated.

The Obidient Movement leader further reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, constructive engagement, accountability and the collective advancement of the organisation.

He said the conclusion of the summit should mark the beginning of a more determined phase of work, urging participants to sustain the relationships built at the gathering and pursue a clearer, more coordinated direction.

“The summit has ended, but the work has only just begun,” Paul said, calling on members to leave the event with renewed determination and an unshakable commitment to the Nigeria they seek to build.

He therefore thanked participants for their support and solidarity, expressing confidence that the movement would remain stronger through unity and sustained collective effort.
