Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my concerns regarding the security challenges our country is facing. I believe there is a need to reevaluate our security architecture and prioritize the well-being of our security personnel.
I propose the establishment of a new agency that will oversee the salary, pension, gratuity, health insurance, and overall welfare of our security agencies. To fund this agency, I suggest a certain percentage be deducted from the salaries of everyone working under the government, including you, Mr. president, and all the political appointees, senators, representatives, governors, civil servants, and employees of the government. This will ensure the financial stability and support for our security personnel.
Furthermore, I believe it is crucial to improve the intelligence of our internal security. To achieve this, I propose the creation of an academy that will admit intelligent and disciplined high school graduates. By nurturing young professionals with a passion for the job, we can enhance the effectiveness and dedication of our security forces.
Establishing an agency dedicated to the welfare of our security personnel will instill confidence in them, allowing them to give their all for the country. I also suggest that you oversee this agency to ensure its proper functioning.
By investing in an Internal Security academy, we can cultivate the best talent among our youth and build a robust and functional security system for our country’s future.
Thank you for your attention to these matters, Mr. President. I believe that by implementing these proposals, we can make significant strides in enhancing our national security.
Sincerely,
Kasim Muhammad Maccido
