ABUJA FCT – As the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria enters day three, Barrister Daniel Bwala has called on the peaceful protesters to go home as there is no point protesting again having made their point and message passed.
Bwala who made the call when he took to his X account on Saturday said: “Dear citizens, you have protested, the point is made, the message is passed; government has geared and understood. Go home and there is no point protesting again in order to not allow unscrupulous elements cause destruction and looting.
Precise Post recalls that one of the demands of the protesters is that President Bola Tinubu should address them but Bwala did not see anything wrong with the President refusing to address the protesters despite several calls from many quarters that it is the best thing to do in a democratic society like ours.
Further recall that Bwala yesterday expressed displeasure that the state Governors of All Progressives Congress who share the vision of Mr President for the reform failed to engage with the protesters in their respective states and calm them down. He also bemoaned the ministers and cabinet members of Tinubu administration for not going to their respective states and engaged in dialogue and address the protesters who were peaceful.
According to him, he also expected that all appointees of Mr president would have flooded the airwaves TV, Radio, zoom, and social media engaging with the protesters and or millions of Nigerians who are not protesting but share views in one way or the other. He reminded them that it is adversity that defines loyalty, not longevity or proximity.
