KASU Governing Council Extends Tenure Of 3 Officers

By Philip Yatai Kaduna – The Governing Council of Kaduna State University (KASU) on Monday announced the extension of tenure of three principal officers of the university by one year. The affected officers are the university Registrar, Mr Samuel Manshop; the Bursar, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim; and the university Librarian, Prof. Abdullahi Musa. The university’s Public Relation Officer, Mr Adamu Bargo, in a statement in Kaduna said Manshop’s tenure was extended from March 16, 2022, to March 15, 2023. Bargo added that the Bursar’s tenure was equally extended from Dec. 21, 2021, to Dec. 2022, while that of the librarian was extended from Feb. 12, 2022, to Feb. 11, 2023. “All the three principal officers are to liaise with members of the University Management Committee for the smooth administration of the University, and report to Council on all policy matters for further guidance. “The appointments are valid for the said period, pending the appointment of substantive Principal Officers,” Bargo said.
