ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The Ogun State Police Command has honoured retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Oluwole Folashade, for her distinguished and meritorious service to the Nigeria Police Force and the nation.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, presented the commendation and “Great Service to the Nation” award to the retired officer in recognition of her over three decades of dedicated service, professionalism, integrity and contributions to policing.
The award was presented on behalf of the Commissioner by ACP Glory Otonko, Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the X Squad.
According to the command, Folashade distinguished herself during her career, particularly as a former second-in-command of the Police Public Relations Office (2i/c PPRO) and the first female Commander of the Police Monitoring Unit, Ogun State Command.
Ojajuni described the retired officer as an exemplary police officer whose career remains an inspiration to serving personnel and a testament to the values of service and professionalism.
The Commissioner commended her commitment and contributions to the Police Force, saying her decades of service had left an enduring mark on policing in Ogun State and Nigeria.
