Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up on her health challenges, revealing she has been battling severe pain and mobility issues for months.
The actress disclosed this in a video she shared on her Instagram page on Saturday to mark her 25th birthday.
Daniels, who was seen in a wheelchair in the video, said what started as a minor health issue gradually worsened, leaving her unable to walk at times.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair. For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, but eventually led to this,” she said.
According to her, her condition took a major turn after the children’s carnival she hosted recently, after which she underwent several medical tests.
“The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I can walk, and sometimes I can’t move. I cried,” she added.
The mother of two however expressed gratitude for the improvement in her health, saying she has recorded significant progress in her recovery.
She said her faith in God and closeness to her children and loved ones had kept her strong through the difficult period.
Daniels, who got married to businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko in 2019, explained that she decided to speak publicly after noticing positive developments in her recovery.
