Abuja (Precise Post) – Nigeria recorded 125 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
Releasing the report via its twitter handle, the agency said the newly confirmed cases brought the total confirmed figure to 57,849 since the index case was reported on 27th February 2020.
Out of the total confirmed figure, 49,098 patients have been treated and discharged while total casualty figure is now 1,102, the report further added.
The NCDC stated that the 125 new cases were recorded in 13 out of the 36 states and FCT of Nigeria as follows:
Lagos-37; Plateau-18 ; FCT-17; Ogun-15; Rivers-10; Benue and Kaduna-7 each; Anambra-5; Oyo-3; Cross River and Ondo-2 each; with Edo and Imo having 1 patient each.
