Abuja (Precise Post) – Nigeria, the most populous black nation in Africa on Monday recorded 397 new cases of #COVID-19 as the death toll now stood at 1,264, the country’s Centre for Disease Control has said.
The report released from the health agency’s twitter handle said the new infections were reported from eighteen (18) states as follows:
Lagos-144; Plateau-83; Kaduna-48; Adamawa-36; Rivers-22; Oyo-16; Kebbi-10; Nasarawa and
Sokoto-7 each; FCT and Kano-5 each; Edo-4;
Jigawa-3; Ogun and Akwa Ibom-2; Niger, Bauchi and Zamfara-1 each.
The NCDC further stated that the total confirmed cases in Nigeria is 84,811 while
71,357 patients have been treated and discharged from the various isolation facilities across the country.
