COVID-19: Nigeria Records 397 New Cases as Death Toll Now 1,264 – NCDC

Abuja (Precise Post) – Nigeria, the most populous black nation in Africa on Monday recorded 397 of # as the toll now stood at 1,264, the country’s Centre for Disease Control has said.

The released from the health agency’s twitter handle said the new were reported from eighteen (18) states as follows:

Lagos-144; Plateau-83; Kaduna-48; Adamawa-36; Rivers-22; Oyo-16; Kebbi-10; Nasarawa and
Sokoto-7 each; FCT and Kano-5 each; Edo-4;
Jigawa-3; Ogun and -2; Niger, Bauchi and Zamfara-1 each.

The NCDC further stated that the total in Nigeria is 84,811 while
71,357 patients have been treated and discharged from the various facilities across the country.

It gave the breakdown of the total per state as follows:
