Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Labour Party on Saturday unveiled the national mobilisation plan for Peter Obi presidency aimed at mainstreaming all election support groups activities in conformity with financial and security best practices.
According to the statement signed by the National Youth Leader of the Party’s Directorate of National Mobilisation, Comrade Eragbe Anslem, made available to Precise Post, all Peter Obi support groups activities shall henceforth be supervised, approved and coordinated by the Labour Party (LP) National Youth Leader Directorates of National Mobilisation.
The party which acknowledged it’s esteemed supporters nationally and globally, stressed that the essence is mainly to bring the activities of the support groups under the direct control of the Labour Party going forward.

AIM: TOWARDS MAINSTREAMING ALL PETER OBI 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION SUPPORT GROUPS ACTIVITIES IN CONFORMITY WITH FINANCIAL AND SECURITY BEST PRACTICES.

1: The office of the National Youth Leader of Labour Party (LP) on the behalf of our National Chairman, BARR JULIUS ABURE and members of the National Working Committee, NWC, wishes to acknowledge our esteemed supporters nationally and globally and to congratulate our 2023 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, MR PETER OBI.
2: To declare our intention to bring all PETER OBI 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION SUPPORT GROUPS ACTIVITIES UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF LABOUR PARTY (LP) going forward.
3: THAT ALL PETER OBI SUPPORT GROUPS ACTIVITIES such as:
a: Donations
b: Fund Raising
c: National Mobilization
d: Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation
e: Security
f: Programs
g: Projects
h: Media and Publicity
I: Solicitations and Courtesy Calls
j: Commissioning and Launching of secretariats
k: Campaigns, etc, shall henceforth be supervised, approved and coordinated by the LABOUR PARTY (LP) NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER DIRECTORATES OF NATIONAL MOBILIZATION.
4: That Security & Financial Agencies & Institutions such as: EFCC, IGPMU, DSS, NIA, INTERPOL, CBN, COMMERCIAL BANKS (Local & Foreign) are by this notice enjoined to report SUSPECTED TRANSACTION REPORTS, STR to the office of the National Youth Leader, Labour Party (LP): +234(0)8037009181 according to 3(a-k), etc.
5: That the REGISTRATION OF ALL PETER OBI SUPPORT GROUPS locally and internationally shall be under the office of the National Youth Leader, Labour Party (LP) with UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS, UIN for SECURITY CHECKS, conformity reasons and compliance purposes.
