Abuja Decides 2026: Money exchanges hands as EFCC operatives storm voting areas in Lugbe

by Joy Chinelo

Various political parties are currently trying to outdo each other in corrupt vote-buying practice at voting areas in Lugbe, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

At various polling units located at LEA school in Lugbe, Blueprint.ng observed that some alleged agents of African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other party persons whose identities couldn’t be ascertained were seen giving cash as inducement to voters.

With large voters waiting to cast their votes, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stormed the place to investigate with a view to fish out the culprits.

As at the time of filling this report, nobody has been arrested but some persons suspected to be thugs, started causing confusion by triggering fight to disrupt election process and disperse the people.

Blueprint.ng is still observing proceedings as they unfold, and keep the public updated.
