Chelsea’s remarkable triumph at the FIFA Club World Cup has been followed by major transfer news that could reshape the club’s midfield. Reports from Fichajes reveal that Argentine star Enzo Fernandez has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid in a blockbuster €150 million deal.
Chelsea Crowned Club World Cup Champions
The Blues qualified for the tournament after winning the 2021 UEFA Champions League, where captain Reece James remains the sole squad member from that victorious team.
In a historic final at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Chelsea stunned newly crowned UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) with a dominant 3-0 victory, becoming the first English club to lift the new-format FIFA Club World Cup.
