In a statement released on Thursday in Abuja, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, confirmed that the inauguration will take place at 12 noon in the NEC Hall of the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
According to the party, the committee—approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC) and announced by the National Working Committee (NWC)—will be chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, will serve as Vice Chairman, while Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, takes the role of Secretary.
The PDP 2025 Elective National Convention is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Emphasizing unity ahead of the convention, Hon. Ologunagba urged leaders, stakeholders, and party members to remain focused and committed to the PDP’s goals.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused, and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention,” the statement read.
The convention is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the PDP’s political direction ahead of the 2027 general elections.
