North Korea has issued a strong warning to the United States and the European Union, cautioning against any form of involvement in the escalating military conflict between Israel and Iran. The warning was delivered through a statement published on Wednesday by the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), which emphasized that Western support for Israel could lead to “catastrophic consequences.”
The statement comes amid growing instability in the Middle East, where Israel’s military operations against Iranian targets have sparked six consecutive days of missile exchanges between the two countries, heightening fears of a broader regional war.
A spokesperson for North Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Israel’s actions, labeling them as “crimes against humanity,” and accused the Israeli government of engaging in “illegal state-sponsored terrorism” with the backing of Western allies. The statement also claimed that Israel’s military strikes have led to significant civilian casualties and further destabilized an already fragile regional security environment.
