ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Cordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammad Ali Pate has hinted that under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Nigeria’s National Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative (#NHSRII) has placed a strong emphasis on preventative care and the development of critical infrastructure to support it.

In a statement released on his X account handle on Sunday, Mr. Pate said while proactive health measures are a priority, the government also acknowledges the inevitability of emergencies and accidents.

Pate said with this in mind, the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (#NEMSAS) is advancing rapidly, ensuring that emergency care is accessible to all Nigerians, especially those in rural areas.

The establishment of the Rural Emergency Service and Maternal Transport (#RESMAT) system, created in partnership with state and local governments, aims to further improve emergency response and maternal healthcare nationwide, he said.

This initiative is a testament to President Tinubu’s compassionate leadership, empowering a transformative shift in how medical emergencies are managed across the country.
