Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has received Mr. Danladi Plang-led International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) delegation to his state, reaffirming his administration’s zero-tolerance stance on corruption and dedication to good governance.
Otti said that the visit of (International IDEA) signifies the commencement of the European Union-funded Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC) Programme’s Phase II in our beloved state.
He stated this when he took to his X account and said:
“We received a delegation from the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) led by Mr. Danladi Plang and his team members. The visit signifies the commencement of the European Union-funded Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC) Programme’s Phase II in our beloved state.
“The choice of Abia as a focal point for this transformative initiative is an acknowledgement of the strides we are making toward good governance.
“The RoLAC programme is about strengthening the very fabric of our society – justice, transparency, and the rule of law. It aims to enhance the performance and oversight of our criminal justice system, improve access to justice for the vulnerable, and increase transparency and accountability in our anti-corruption efforts.”
