ABUJA – President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Tosin Adeyanju as the new Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), the statement released via the X account of Bayo Onanuga has said.
The Special Adviser Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu highlighted that Adeyanju, 46, and a former student unionist, was a prominent member of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) which spearheaded the Tinubu Presidential project under the leadership of Hon. James Faleke.
He was a graduate of Political science and also has a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
Precise Post recalls that Human Rights Activist and federal lawmaker that represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the 8th National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani had last week, while feilding questions on AIT Programme on the state of the nation, warned that Presudent Bola Tinubu would be making a big mistake if he repeats the same mistake his predecessor President Muhammadu Buhari made by appointing only people from his ethnic group into positions of authority as if to say there are no capable hands in other geopolitical zones. He added that this trajectory led to perpetuation of incompent hands and Service Chiefs in positions for the whole eight years even when it was glaring that they were bereft of new ideas to priblems of the country.
