Nollywood actor and presidential aspirant Yul Edochie has revealed why he is called the nickname ‘ODOGWU’ by many of his friends and colleagues.
Taking to his Instagram page, Yul Edochie shared a photo of himself in deep thought in what seemed like a movie set.
According to Yul Edochie, there’s a reason people call him the name ‘Odogwu’, and it is not just a common name.
Yul Edochie said the name ‘Odogwu’ signifies greatness, commands presence, respect and integrity.
In his words: There’s a reason they call me Odogwu. No be anyhow name. It’s a name that signifies greatness. A name that commands presence. A name that commands respects and integrity. E day body. Odogwu.
Yul Edochie earlier reacted to the trending topics where women were asked to always collect transport fares on dates.
The actor, via his Instagram story, advises Nigerian men not to go on a date with ladies who expect transport fare.
Yul Edochie claims only ‘broke’ ladies’ demands for transport fare when going on a date, stating there are still hardworking and comfortable women who will agree for a date without demanding anything.
“Na una dey date broke women wey dey find transport money. There’re are hardworking comfortable women who will agree to go on a date with you without demanding transport fare before or after. They don’t need your money don’t generalize. All women are not the same.”
