by Joy: News Admin

Vivian Joseph, the wife of Nigerian comedian and actor Victor Nwaogu, popularly known as Nkubi, has strongly condemned a shocking and disturbing comment made by a social media user who suggested she should take the life of her daughter, Soromtochukwu, because of her appearance.

The incident occurred on Monday after Vivian shared a screenshot of the hateful message on her Instagram page alongside the picture of the man alleged to have sent it.

In the vile message, the user claimed it would be “better” for Vivian to kill her child while she is still young.

Reacting to the disturbing comment, Vivian described the man as a “murderer” and expressed deep disgust over such inhuman advice.

Nigerians React with Outrage

The post quickly went viral, sparking outrage from Nigerians across social media platforms who condemned the comment as insensitive, wicked, and unacceptable.

Here are some reactions:

Caroline Chinedu: “It’s the audacity for me! Someone else’s child that he didn’t create? And he even called it ‘advice’? Imagine!”

Lolo Jennifer Onyekachi: “See how easy it sounds to him. If it’s your own child, will you say the same? You’ll get what you deserve soon.”

Blessing Idiora: “So this is somebody’s future husband? A whole human being talking like this? Shameful!”

Mummy Kamaf: “Wait until you have your own child. If you don’t like the child, do whatever you want. But for Sorom, her parents and even we the online family love her dearly.”

Confidence Chika: “This man must have been harboring dark thoughts for a long time to even think of such a thing.”

Sarah Oluwanbunmi: “If Nkubi’s mother had ended his life as a child, would he have achieved what he has today? People speak without thinking.”

Walshak Kos: “Mrs. Nkubi is one of the strongest women I know. She has endured toxic comments for years from people mocking what they can’t even create. Falling in love with the man her heart desired is no crime. The hatred is simply pathetic.”

Growing Concern Over Online Bullying

The incident has reignited conversations about cyberbullying, online toxicity, and the emotional toll on families in the public eye. Many Nigerians are calling for stronger measures to curb hateful speech and protect children from becoming targets of cruel remarks.
