*Gospel Singer ToluwaniSings Taken To 8 Hospitals After Slumping, Denied Treatment – PA*

The personal assistant to late gospel singer ToluwaniSings has revealed how the artiste was rushed to about eight hospitals in Ibadan after he suddenly slumped on Wednesday morning but was denied treatment.

ToluwaniSings, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, died on October 14, 2026, a day after ministering at a worship event. He was popular for his hit songs _A Very Big God_ and _Onibuore_.

His Personal Assistant, Babadunni Gbolabo Olayemi, who spoke on Thursday, said he was not with the singer when he slumped but rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call.

“I am Babadunni Gbolabo. I am the PA to ToluwaniSings. When it happened in the morning, I wasn’t here, so they called me and I came,” he said.

According to him, the singer showed no sign of illness before the incident.

“There was nothing wrong with him. He was very fine and in perfect condition. He just slumped. They tried to resuscitate him. They went helter-skelter,” Babadunni said.

He said the team took the singer from one hospital to another in search of urgent care, but were turned back with different excuses.

“They took him to some hospitals, but they were giving excuses. Some said doctors were not working because of the strike. Some did not admit him at all. That is how it went. We tried our best, including prayers. We took him to up to seven to eight hospitals in Ibadan, but God said his time was up,” he narrated.

Babadunni added that the body has been deposited in the mortuary while the family deliberates on burial arrangements.

“The family members are here. So, we are all just managing the situation, as the body is currently at the mortuary. Once the family members hold their meeting and are clear on things, that is when we will know the next step to take,” he said.

The singer’s death, which has thrown the gospel music industry into mourning, was earlier confirmed by his family.

ToluwaniSings’ death is coming amid the ongoing warning strike by resident doctors at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
