Speaking at the event, Governor Wike chided the incumbent governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo over his recent verbal attacks on the Labour Party candidate. Recall that Soludo had on Monday set the internet on fire after releasing a lengthy article rubbishing the presidential ambition of Obi. American rapper, 50 Cent has been asked by many people to not glamourize cybercrime. Over 100 people have signed an online petition asking 50 Cent to halt his proposed series on Hushpuppi, the internet fraudster. On November 7, Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison in the United States for money laundering. N3, 269,761,783.43 has been approved by the Federal Executive Council yesterday for the perimeter fencing of Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto (UDUS). The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, said the contract was awarded to Amis Construction Nigeria Limited. He said the FEC also approved N5,107,364,373.62 for the printing of sensitive and necessary materials by the National Examination Council (NECO). According to him, the contract was awarded to eight contractors. Adamu said the council also approved a contract for the supply of 18 ambulances fitted with medical equipment to 18 unity schools. Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said N2,578,948,164.36 was approved for procurement of 145 operational vehicles for the Federal Road Safety Commission.  “Dangote Peugeot is to supply within 30 days; while Mikaino International is to supply within 14 days. So, for Dangote Peugeot, it’s to supply 18 Landtrek pickup at N18,172,875.00 each totaling N145,383,000.00 and another brand of 90 at N20,889,999 each totaling N1,880,099,910.00.  “And then for Mikaino, it’s to supply 20 number Nissan Almera Acenta at the cost of N12,255,000.00 each.”

President Muhammadu Buhari The sum of N134.7 billion has been approved by the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari for the payment of Security Debarment Allowance (SDA) to all veterans.
