Gov Nyesom Wike Governor Nyseom Wike of Rivers state has hailed Peter Obi, the  Labour Party presidential candidate, for his performance when he was a  governor of Anambra State. The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has made a new declaration. He said he knows the root of the problem in the country. Obi stated this in Rivers State on Thursday, as he was invited by the state governor, Nyesom Wike, to inaugurate the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover, the ninth flyover of Wike’s administration. Obi said the problem of Nigeria was that the country was not productive. American rapper, 50 Cent has been asked by many people to not glamourize cybercrime. Over 100 people have signed an online petition asking 50 Cent to halt his proposed series on Hushpuppi, the internet fraudster. On November 7, Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison in the United States for money laundering. A few days after the sentencing, 50 Cent announced his plan to produce a series about the Nigerian socialite. “For my scammers I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon!” he had written while sharing a photo of Hushpuppi. IGP, Usman Baba Ahead of the 2023 general elections, leaders of all 18 political parties in the country are currently in a closed-door meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, The Punch reports. The meeting, currently being held at the IGP Conference Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja, was convened over the recent attacks on the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission, and other politically motivated violence happening in the country. Gov Nyesom Wike and Peter Obi Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has assured the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi of providing him with “logistics support” when he wants to campaign in Rivers state. He pledged his support to Obi at the venue of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover inauguration in Port Harcourt. The governor also declared that Obi has what it takes to become Nigeria’s president. According to Wike: “Each time you want to campaign in the state, let me know, all the logistics support, we will give to you.”Obi, his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, and some members of the LP presidential campaign team were in Rivers for the commissioning of the 9th flyover by Wike’s administration. N3, 269,761,783.43 has been approved by the Federal Executive Council yesterday for the perimeter fencing of Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto (UDUS). The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, said the contract was awarded to Amis Construction Nigeria Limited. He said the FEC also approved N5,107,364,373.62 for the printing of sensitive and necessary materials by the National Examination Council (NECO). According to him, the contract was awarded to eight contractors. Adamu said the council also approved a contract for the supply of 18 ambulances fitted with medical equipment to 18 unity schools. Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said N2,578,948,164.36 was approved for procurement of 145 operational vehicles for the Federal Road Safety Commission.  “Dangote Peugeot is to supply within 30 days; while Mikaino International is to supply within 14 days. So, for Dangote Peugeot, it’s to supply 18 Landtrek pickup at N18,172,875.00 each totaling N145,383,000.00 and another brand of 90 at N20,889,999 each totaling N1,880,099,910.00.  “And then for Mikaino, it’s to supply 20 number Nissan Almera Acenta at the cost of N12,255,000.00 each.”
